Harbour Results’ Growth Strategy Continues with Multiple New Hires
Harbour Results, Inc., (HRI) a trusted advisor to the manufacturing industry, today announced it has hired two new employees due to recent growth with new clients and expanded services for existing customers. HRI’s newest team members, Jay Smith, senior manager, and Kayla Zurawski, analyst consultant, further strengthen the company’s proven service offerings.
Senior Manager, Jay Smith, brings more than 25 years of industry experience in business planning, top line growth, bottom line earnings, operations management, lean manufacturing development, and logistics and company turn arounds. Smith earned his MBA in technical management from the University of Phoenix, and most recently served as the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Classic Industries, where he was responsible for multiple facilities on a global footprint along with establishing short and long term growth strategies.
“Jay has a proven track record leading and executing sales strategies,” says HRI President and CEO, Laurie Harbour. “His background leading the growth of a large global organization and his ability to build meaningful relationships with clients will provide tremendous value for HRI.”
In his new role, Smith will manage a portfolio of operational and strategic consulting engagements, influence and manage HRI client performance and relationships, grow current client business and take a proactive approach on new business development. He will also lead the assessment of cultural and operational issues impacting client performance and strategic execution.

HRI’s recently hired analyst consultant, Kayla Zurawski, will support the company in maintaining Harbour IQ, HRI’s proprietary database, as well as analyzing and synthesizing data from surveys and client data sources, and developing client deliverables, industry presentations and market studies. As HRI moves towards the implementation of Big Data systems that are needed to support our clients, Kayla’s experience and capabilities will be critical to advance our benchmarking activities in the manufacturing industry.
Prior to joining HRI, Zurawski served as IT product manager: global data, insights and analytics at Ford Motor Company. She has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from Lawrence Technological University and is currently earning her master’s degree in applied economics from Eastern Michigan University.
